Data:
Customers are responsible for their own data. Azania IT, its employees or owners take no responsibility for data loss. When possible, personal data backup will be attempted to the best of our abilities with no guarantees. If we are required to perform a full system backup prior to work being performed, it may result in a fee of R350.00 as per our price list. Data backup is not covered under the warranty terms.

Software:

In the event of a system software restoration, Azania IT is only responsible for the reinstallation of the original Microsoft or Apple licensed software. Third party applications may be reinstalled under the cost of labour at Customer's request @ R100 per title when coupled with a warranty repair or approved repair / refurb / upgrade quote.

Device Abandonment:Any items left over 45 days from the date of the quote / repair will be considered abandoned and sold to cover any expenses accrued by Azania IT.

Diagnostic Fee:
If the device must be checked in for diagnostic, a standard R550 diagnostic fee will be charged. If the device is covered under Azania IT warranty, the fee will be waived for covered repairs unless it is determined failure or diminished capacity is due to improper use or inadequate maintenance.

For non-warranty items the fee will be waived upon repair quote approval.

Courier Collection & Return Fee:
Customer will be billed a flat rate R280 fee for doorstep collection and return of their device, should customer accept the repair/ refurbish / upgrade quote, courier fee will be waived.
