Packaging Responsibility: You are solely responsible for packaging/boxing the laptop securely to withstand normal transport risks. Azania IT and/or its 3rd party courier partners will not be liable for in-transit damage caused by inadequate packaging.
Transit Risks: Azania IT and/or its 3rd party courier partners are not liable for losses or damages due to hijacking, theft, robbery, fire, or other unforeseen incidents during transit.
Ownership & Rights: You confirm you are the lawful owner and have full rights to sell the device. If the device is stolen or misrepresented, Azania IT (Mbonyana & Dube (Pty) Ltd) may recover costs, damages, and pursue criminal charges under South African law.
Admin Fee for Cancellations: If you cancel after collection, an admin fee of no less than R250 and no more than 30% of the preliminary offer will apply to cover courier and handling costs.
Information Accuracy: All information submitted is truthful and provided voluntarily.
Data Protection & Erasure: Upon final offer acceptance, Azania IT will perform secure data erasure/re-imaging in line with POPIA-aligned best practices. You are solely responsible for backing up and removing your data before handover. Azania IT and its employees are not liable for data loss or the absence of backups. If you request backup/data transfer, Azania IT can assist at your cost.
Payment Turnaround: EFT payment is typically made within 72 business hours after (a) official offer acceptance, (b) successful inspection/testing of the device at Azania IT, and (c) receipt and verification of required banking documents. Weekends and South African public holidays are excluded. Inter-bank processing times and bank holds are outside our control.
Bank Details & Verification: You confirm that the account holder name, bank, account number, branch code and account type you submit are complete and correct. Payment will only be made to the details you provide. Azania IT is not responsible for delayed or misdirected payments caused by incorrect/incomplete details. We may require a bank confirmation letter and may hold payment until details are verified.
Non-Disclosure / Reputation: You agree not to publish or share negative commentary, reviews, or social posts about this process. Azania IT offers discretion and expects the same.
Packaging Guidance: Use original packaging if available, otherwise bubble-wrap and box. Ensure the laptop and charger do not move inside the box. Seal all edges with tape and request a “FRAGILE” sticker from the driver.
